Dan was introduced to barter and ICON when he partnered with them on a real-estate transaction in North Carolina. ICON acquired a 350,000 SF semiconductor facility from Mitsubishi. They re-marketed it, leasing the property to pharmaceutical tenants and then sold it. The deal was a success for all parties. Dan was fascinated with ICON’s unique business model and decided he wanted to pursue barter as a career.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, with a B. A. in Communications, Dan took leadership classes at UNC and Harvard.
Prior to joining the ICON team, Dan worked as a developer for Teer Associates in North Carolina where he gained extensive experience in sales and networking. Dan’s accomplishments have earned him recognition in business journals as one of the “Top 40 under 40 Professionals,” and he has been featured in North Carolina’s Real Estate Today magazine as one of the “Top Dealmakers.”
Most People Don’t Know That… Dan once caught a 250lb Bluefin tuna off the coast of North Carolina’s outer banks.
