Christine Childs serves as vice president, account director. She recently joined the ICON team with almost 20 years of barter experience, promoted from national broadcast media buyer to roles in account management and business development before ultimately becoming vice president of sales and marketing in the travel vertical. Christine has a niche in the travel and consumer products industry having spent more than eight years managing a team that was responsible for strategically developing and remarketing capacity positions with travel providers.
Christine applies her vast industry experience to build deep and loyal client relationships. She works diligently to gain knowledge of her clients, helping them navigate ways to approach barter as a solution, and then fulfil on their transactions. Her success can be attributed to the fact that she enjoys getting to know a client’s needs, and loves aligning additional areas of value and opportunity. She believes in structuring processes and expectations to ensure clients can both recognize and enjoy the full benefits of a barter partnership.
Christine grew up in England and graduated from the University of Brighton in the UK with a BA in International Business Management. She now resides in Greenwich, CT but still enjoys any reason to be in NYC including guest lecturing at NYU on the topic of business development.
