Bob Christman recently joined ICON’s business development team. As vice president, business development he applies his extensive knowledge and experience in media and corporate barter to offer innovative financial solutions to ICON prospects and clients.
Bob joins ICON with a myriad of experience ranging 20+ years. Most recently at IBM where he was a cloud solutions executive responsible for providing, large, complex, transformational cloud-based solutions for IBM’s industry team (IBM’s top 200 revenue generating accounts). Bob attended IBM’s prestigious sales training and Graduated with Distinction Honors from IBM’s Global Sales School. He also graduated from IBM’s Cloud Academy.
Bob also served as the executive director of web development and strategy for AZN Television (a Comcast national cable network) where he launched Comcast’s first online streaming media platform which doubled web traffic and secured General Motors as the first integrated advertiser. While refining the interactive video advertising platform, Bob managed a development and digital sales team to close integrated deals with Ford, Anheuser-Busch, State Farm, and Verizon. Prior to taking over the web development efforts for AZN, Bob was a senior account executive selling advertising for AZN Television as part of Comcast Network Sales where he increased territory revenue and exceeded all quarterly sales quotas. In 2005, while at Comcast, Bob was awarded the 2005 Employee of the Year.
